When using quality equipment, front projection far exceeds the rear projection in prodution value. The screens that Hollywood Outdoor Movies utilizes are black backed so that no ambient light will go through them. This enhances the picture image that you see. With rear projection, the image is projected from behind the screen and half of the lumen count is lost. To compensate for this, the projector must be upgraded to get the same quality as a front projection. Why Should I choose a company that utilizes Airscreen?

We have seen everything from home stereos brought to the park to companies posting two 200 watt speakers on site for a crowd of 2000 people. Serioulsy, no kidding! Hollywood Outdoor Movies takes a different approach to each of our events than any other company out there. The theatrical experience is a combination of both sight and sound. The amount of sound brought to a venue will be dependant on the size of the crowd. However, you can rest assured that you will hear it. Sound is affected differently outside than it is inside. If hte wind blows, the sound will blow with it or become slightly distorted. This is one reason that an ample sound system is crucial to your event.
